So who’s to say you can’t build a virtual one? – Sims will flock to your resort naturally… if it has a high rating. At first, when I though about getting one, I was worried I would have to live on that lot, and thought, “I don’t want to open a resort if I have to leave everything I have now behind!” But you don’t! You can still live in a house and have a regular life, and a resort is kind of like a job from Ambitions- you can work there, make progress, and interact with your sim all you want, but you don’t have to stay there for a certain number of work hours or pick up jobs from other sims around town. The good news about owning a resort is that you don’t have to move there. A little rinky-dink at first, but it can be spiced up with amenities.
